SCULPTURE
Bronze Sculpture & Foundry
My passion is bronze sculpture. I participate in an entire process of sculpture-casting; from mould making to its final finish. Bronze is an excellent material allowing to obtain desired form. My work continues to evolve, I like to experiment. Diversity dominates among my works.
Bronze casting is a long process & each step requires care for detail from the start to the finish. I use the ‘Lost Wax’ process for bronze casting. This technique offers great dimensional accuracy; thus anything that can be modeled in wax to be transformed into metal like fine jewellery, and sculpture. I prefer using ceramic shell method for creating moulds.
My fine art bronze foundry is located in Galway city. Although small in size, it meets all the casting needs. I do modelling, mould making, casting, and patination.
